Course Outline:

The body Beautiful

Learn about cosmetics and hairdressing ot the Tudor and Victorian periods. We shall be making a variety of beauty products from perfumed hair rinses to lipsalves and Tudor hair gel. We shall be flicking through the fashion images of the day and have a go at re creating the period look.

We will be working in Tudor and Victorian spaces around open fires. Please wear suitable warm clothing and stout shoes. You are advised to wear clothing made from natural fibres for fire safety.
