The Tudor Bakehouse - Pies and Pastry 9th September 2010

Course Outline:

We shall be baking a variety of different pie and pastry recipes in the Tudor bread oven in Winkhurst Kitchen. From hand raised standing pies to deep fried chouix pastry Bennets.

When our pastries are ready we will we will fire the Tudor oven with faggots and bake them as the recipes intended

We will be working in a Tudor Kitchen around open fires. Please wear suitable warm clothing and stout shoes. You are advised to wear clothing made from natural fibres for fire safety.
